Summer Tutoring — Get Ahead Before the Bell Rings
Use summer break to catch up on weak spots OR get ahead on next year's curriculum. No homework pressure means students move 2–3x faster than during the school year.
Book My Summer Sessions →Why summer tutoring works
Move 2-3x Faster
Without daily homework eating evenings, students absorb material faster. One summer = one semester of school-year tutoring.
Beat the Summer Slide
Math skills decay measurably over a 12-week break. Just 30-60 min/week of summer tutoring keeps skills sharp through fall.
Get a Head Start
Preview next year's textbook chapters. Walk into the first day of school already 3 weeks ahead.
Fix Last Year's Gaps
Summer is the only time to truly fix a weak unit from the past year without falling behind on this year's work.
Test Prep Without Pressure
Summer is ideal for SAT/ACT prep. Full attention on the test, no competing homework.
Lower Stress
Lighter schedule, lower stakes per session, more confidence built before the school-year sprint.
Summer-friendly subjects
All 30+ subjects available for summer, but these are the most popular for the “get ahead” or “catch up” goal:

Summer tutoring FAQ
When should we start summer tutoring?
Most families start the first week of June, run through mid-August. Booking in May locks in your preferred time slots before they fill.
How many sessions per week is ideal for summer?
2-3 sessions per week is the sweet spot for most students. More than that and students burn out; fewer than that and you lose momentum.
What about family vacations during summer?
No problem – we pause and resume. Most summer packages stretch across June-August with built-in flexibility for vacation weeks.
Can my student work ahead on next year's textbook?
Yes – if you share the syllabus/textbook for the upcoming year, we'll preview the first few chapters so day 1 of school feels familiar instead of overwhelming.
Is summer SAT prep worth it for a rising sophomore?
Yes for rising juniors and seniors targeting fall test dates. Rising sophomores typically benefit more from foundation work (Algebra II, geometry refresh) than test prep.
How much does summer tutoring cost?
Same rates as the rest of the year – $45-$100/hr depending on city. Multi-session summer packages save 6-11%. Group sessions (siblings or friends at same level) save up to 25%.
Do you offer free summer trial sessions?
The 30-minute consultation is always free. We discuss summer goals, recommend a schedule, and you decide from there. No card required.
